SOUTH SALT LAKE — Granite School District is offering an virtual survey to carry out input on the proposed 2016-17 institution calendar. The calendar was presented to the Board of Education on Nov. 18 and also was apconfirmed for public input.

The calendar was formulated by a districtwide committee making up parental fees and also school officials. Based on parental input, it was recommended that institution finish before Memorial Day.

Due to state and also collegiate experimentation (SAGE and State-of-the-art Placement testing) and also Easter falling in mid-April, the normal Spring Recess has been incorporated through the finish of the term for 3rd quarter, March 23-31.

All other student non-college days are suggested as either holidays/recesses or student non-attendance days.

Interested parties are encouraged to testimonial the calendar and provide any correct feedago, which will certainly be presented to the Board of Education in February.

This survey will certainly be open till Jan. 23 at granitecolleges.org.
